Our Team

1. Uganda Episcopal Conference (UEC)
Role:
The highest authority overseeing the Church in Uganda. The bishops provide pastoral oversight and guidance to all ecclesial movements, including the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, ensuring that it remains faithful to the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.

2. National Service of Communion (NSC)
Role:
This is the top coordinating body of the CCR in Uganda under the guidance of the Episcopal Liaison Bishop. It provides leadership, vision, formation, and direction for the Renewal at the national level, in communion with CHARIS (Catholic Charismatic Renewal International Service). The NSC links the national office with diocesan and international CCR structures.

3. National Network of Prayer Groups
Role:
A structured network that connects all CCR prayer groups in Uganda through their respective diocesan and parish structures. It ensures communication, collaboration, and support among groups across the country and helps mobilize participation in national activities, formation programs, and outreach.

4. Diocesan Service of Communion (DSC)
Role:
The leadership team coordinating CCR activities within a diocese. It implements the vision of the NSC at the diocesan level and supports the Parish Service Teams and Prayer Groups through training, formation, and events. The DSC works in close relationship with the diocesan bishop and chaplain.

5. Parish Service Team (PST)
Role:
The team responsible for organizing and supporting the activities of CCR in a particular parish. They coordinate prayer meetings, evangelization efforts, and ministry within the parish under the guidance of the parish priest and in collaboration with the DSC.

6. Prayer Group
Role:
The grassroots unit of the Renewal where members gather regularly to pray, worship, share the Word of God, and grow in the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. Prayer groups are open to all the faithful and serve as spaces for personal and communal spiritual growth, evangelization, and service.
