Significance of the Event:

i. It was the first time such a global CCR event was held in Africa.
ii. Uganda was chosen as a strategic spiritual center for the Renewal in the region.
iii. The gathering was part of the preparations leading toward the Golden Jubilee of the CCR (1967–2017).
iv. It deepened the sense of unity, identity, and mission within the international CCR family.

Uganda’s hosting of the ICCRS Great Gathering in 2014 remains a proud and powerful memory — a moment when the global CCR looked to Africa for inspiration, growth, and renewal. It was a time of revival, international fellowship, and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
